Useful websites for people on the move #2 www.raintoday.co.uk Gives you near real-time weather radar showing how rain is developing, moving, falling and fizzling out. Updated every 15 mins. Particularly useful if you’re on a bike and want to avoid getting caught by a heavy shower – or if you’re just putting the washing out!

Useful websites for people on the move #3 http://www.tomtom.com/livetraffic/ This is the live traffic feed that goes to TomTom GPS units with the live updates, but displayed on your desktop. More road detail than the Traffic England site but less info about the incident itself.
